Don't let fear stop you. Stop you from doing something you've never done before.

I started our girls' bathroom project not knowing how to tile a shower surround or build a niche, but you see that? I Googled, and watched videos and DID it.

It's been a long process and we still have a ways to go, but I've learned so much along the way and it will be awesome to say I built this room from the ground up.

One Room Challenge starts now!

This week starts the One Room Challenge. An 8 week challenge to redo a room. I have done two challenges and I'm going for my third!

First picture is last year's #oneroomchallenge where I built my new office/mudroom.

The second picture is 2020s challenge where I finished my oldest daughter's bedroom.

This year I can't wait to share which room I am making over. Follow along in my stories, posts and blog.

Holy cow batman! This picture is HUGE!

I had my eye on this @juniperprintshop Hillside photo for a long time and finally pulled the trigger on it back in November. Now that I made it to @ikeausa to get the frame I was able to hang it up this week.

I struggled with this wall in our living room for awhile because it's 15' long. The 55" x 79" picture was just the ticket. I used the Ikea Bjorksta frame and it turned out great!

I have a few more things I want to add but it is simply gorgeous. I would love to know what you think so comment below!

I love adding a pop of color in a room! Do you?

This is a space you haven't seen before! It's our mudroom half bath. I wanted it too feel large for a half bath since this is the main bathroom for our guests.

Painting the walls a light color (@sherwinwilliams Origami White) and adding in a navy blue vanity from @loweshomeimprovement adds just the right amount of color.

This is real life. I had the girls move the Legos to the mudroom so I could get pictures taken 😜.

Social media can give you a false look into what life looks like, but in reality behind all those pretty pictures is real life.

The Legos got cleaned up from this space but now I have a giant box in my living room that the girls have turned into their home. That is REAL life!
